My philosophy for losing my baby weight was that it took me 9 months to put it on so it will take me at least 9 months to get it off. I lost my baby weight by completing high intensity interval training. HIIT is perfect for new mums and busy women as you can fit in a really effective high intensity workout in as little as 5 minutes.
This is the form of training I do with all my clients and i’m getting some great results. I used to wait until baby had a nap and then do a short workout lasting about 15 minutes, plenty of time to then have a shower and crack on with the housework/make baby bottles/anything else that needed doing!
I also did lots of long walks with baby. Not only did this help with my weight loss it also meant I saved some pennies!
