5 Fitness DVD’s That Actually Work!

Everyone has their own ideas and time scales for getting fit. For example, did you know that 15% of Americans have a gym membership.

But only half use it.

Getting healthy seems to be more and more work these days. And can be expensive when you take into account memberships and sports hire. This is why a lot of people are preferring to work out at home. It’s cheaper, more convenient and you’re close to a couch you can crash on when you’ve exhausted yourself!

One easy way to work out is by using a fitness DVD. Very popular with women, although some men do use them, fitness DVDs can be found in living rooms all over the country. But do they work? Well, here are 5 that get results….

Zumba is very popular right now and whilst this is a little more pricey, you get a lot of value for your money here. Dancing is a proven way to get results and Zumba is definitely intense enough to see the results over a short period of time.

Many women don’t like the way their body is affected by pregnancy. Luckily, with this DVD, they can still get healthy results despite being with child. It offers a comprehensive workout that tones the muscles without being too strenuous. People forget that pregnant women might want to exercise too!

A great DVD for building strength and toning the key areas. Kettlebells are becoming more and more popular in gym workouts so it’s only natural to see them in the home now. 20 minutes a day with an expert to take you through your paces. Results include improvements in the bum and abdominal regions. Of course, you’ll have to buy the kettlebells separately!

  2. I love doing bodyweight exercises especially the burpees and pullups when I can find a pullup bar. Also, fitness DVDs are great. I think you only need about 30 a day to get a great workout without wearing yourself out.
