This exciting event is run in partnership with Living Adventure.
You will learn new skills to increase your confidence in getting outdoors with your family and friends or just on your own. A great fun introduction to Bushcraft. This will be a ladies only event with no children allowed, think of it as some well deserved Me Time!
What to expect: We will start with a walk in Wharncliffe Woods before heading to the camp for an exciting, yet relaxed afternoon in the woods, you’ll get mucky hands and be faced with lots of fun challenges in the great outdoors.
Camp fire food will be provided as well as tea and coffee, please let me know if there are any specific dietary requirements.
We’ll cover a range of bushcraft skills during the session. Previous Forest Fit events have focused on fire craft, wilderness first aid, foraging, primitive shelter building and knife skills. The main topics to be covered in the 2017 sessions will be confirmed soon.
What to bring: Sturdy footwear, layered clothing so you’ve got options depending on the weather, waterproof coat and trousers, hat, gloves, water bottle.
Facilities: There are no toilet facilities located within the woodland so please bear this in mind. There will be plenty of trees for wild wee’s!! Clean water will be available for drinking and washing hands.
Cost: Places are limited to 14 ladies per session.
£40 per person.
