I’m excited to join the Revitalize Fitness team and even more excited to meet some of you and help you reach your potential and achieve those goals. For now here’s a little bit about me.
I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BSc (Hons) Exercise Science degree back in 2007. Since then I’ve travelled through various career pathways to develop my skills and knowledge. I started off my career as a gym instructor and then progressed to a personal trainer. I then completed training in Exercise Referral and Cardiac Rehabilitation and used these skills as an Exercise Referral Officer for Sheffield City Council, helping patients tackle their health problems and lead a healthier, happier lifestyle.
Redundancy then lead me to sports coaching for children and older adults, provided me with lots of sports and exercise coaching experience and confidence to coach children and older adults. I currently work in a primary school as a learning mentor and I train PT in my free time.
I love running with my dogs Bear and Lola so if you see us give us a wave or say hello.
I also like to do resistance training to develop my strength and feel lean. I just competed in my first strongman competition and loved it!
I have taken up many sports in the past including rowing, climbing, kickboxing and swimming so have a wide range of knowledge of sports specific training.
Looking forward to meeting you all and training you to achieve what you strive for.
